Once the people understand Donald Trump is not actually the brains powering the operation, a clearer understanding that Trump is only doing what the one's actually in control want
carried out. Trump is just the person seen, the real power come from those unseen.
Trump's Administration been responsible for setting an “action plan” for his first weeks in the White House, developing executive orders and memoranda, and deciding when Trump would sign each new document.
The plan has so far produced executive actions weakening Obamacare, beefing up immigration enforcement and freezing federal hiring — and on preventing refugees and visa-holders from several Muslim-majority countries from entering the U.S.
Rather than telling Trump what he can’t do, Steve Bannon - a self-made multimillionaire whom Trump views as a peer rather than as an employee has positioned himself alongside the president to implement orders and policy.
HISTORY - Prior to assuming the White House position, Bannon was the chief executive officer of Trump's 2016 presidential campaign. Before his political career, he was executive chair of Breitbart News, a far-right news, opinion, and commentary website, which he described in 2016 as "the platform for the alt-right".
After his military service in the 70's and 80's Bannon worked at Goldman Sachs as an investment banker in the Mergers and Acquisitions Department. When he left the company he held the position of vice president. In 1990, Bannon and several colleagues from Goldman Sachs launched Bannon & Co., a boutique investment bank specializing in media. Through this company, Bannon negotiated the sale of Castle Rock Entertainment to Ted Turner. As payment, Bannon & Co. accepted a financial stake in five television shows, including Seinfeld. Société Générale purchased Bannon & Co. in 1998
Bannon ventured into the entertainment and media industry in the 1990's. He became an executive producer in the Hollywood film and media industry. Bannon produced 18 films from the 1991 Sean Penn drama The Indian Runner to executive producing Julie Taymor's 1999 film Titus. Bannon acquired a partner in entertainment industry and formed television management company. In 2004, Bannon made a documentary about Ronald Reagan titled In the Face of Evil.
CURRENT -
Bannon, is curently part of the creators of Executive Order 13769, which resulted in restricted U.S. travel and immigration by individuals from seven countries, suspension of the United States Refugee Admissions Program (USRAP) for 120 days, and indefinite suspension of the entry of Syrians to the United States.
In February 2017, Bannon appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, which he was labeled "the Great Manipulator". The headline used for the article was "Is Steve Bannon the Second Most Powerful Man in the World?"
