Black Athletes should start their own sports leagues

Black males make up nearly seventy percent of players in the NFL, yet only six percent of the United States population. At any moment Black athletes have the ability to break away, unite and launch their own sports leagues.

Black people purchase just as many game tickets. They also purchase just as much game gear and team paraphernalia per capita as any other culture.

Enough HBCU’s (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) have football fields even arenas to host games. Revolt, OWN and Tidal can have rights to broadcast and stream these games and commentary shows. So the logistics exist to lay the foundation of an all Black sports leagues. Athletes are just too afraid to break away from their ‘masters’ and put in the work
